Since the first Recommendations on Corporate Governance were released in December 2001, the role of the board has changed dramatically.

Through successive crises such as the Financial Crisis, the COVID pandemic, and the war in Ukraine, boards have generally moved much closer to the operational core and become involved in far more details of corporate activity. Technological quantum leaps, including AI, quantum computing, and cyber, have only made this shift more necessary.

Look forward to a tour de force review of the evolution of effective board governance over the past 25 years – and a look into the crystal ball regarding the role of boards in the years ahead.
