Board Composition & Succession
The Conference is held in Copenhagen, Wednesday the 2nd of September 2020 at 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Villa Copenhagen, Tietgensgade 35-39, 1704 Copenhagen W.
The theme will focus on the board’s role in its own succession planning; a topic that most boards indicate they pay too little attention to. How to ensure both breadth, depth, and diversity in competences; how is the annual board evaluation and competency mapping concretely used when the board must plan for the coming year(s); how does the board cooperate with the shareholders in this regard; and can we possibly learn something from countries like Sweden and Norway, which use external nomination committees instead of the internal committees we know in Denmark?
Thanks to our amazing panel from both Denmark, Norway, and Sweden for coming and sharing their first-hand experiences!
