Danish boards are generally less diverse in their composition than the boards in e.g., Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain etc.
This applies to diversity in the form of gender, nationality, age etc.
At the meeting, we will focus on how different forms of diversity contribute to boards’ dynamism, efficiency, and value creation, including e.g., whether higher gender diversity provides a better interpersonal dynamic, whether national and cultural diversity is able to improve efficiency/strategy/risk management, whether age diversity is important in relation to how the board works with digitization or how the board remembers market cycles, etc.
Hear personal statements from our unique internationally experienced panel of speakers with experience from the boardrooms of, among others USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Cyprus, Israel, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
You can i.a. hear:
Päivi Rekonen (FI) (board member of, among others, Konecranes, F-Secure, Alma Media, Efecte and Arantio)
Lena Olving (SE) (CEO Mycronic and board member of i.a. Investment AB Latour, Munters and The Swedish Corporate Governance Board. Previously on the board of i.a. Alfa Laval, Norsk Hydro, Novozymes and Gunnebo)
