Denmark's largest and most exclusive board network

Since Board Network’s foundation in March 2012, The Community has been at the core of our activities.

Here, at least four times a year, we have presented speakers, presenters, and panelists from the very top shelf of both Danish and international board chairmen, professional board members, professors, board advisors and other experts.

Relevant for all types of board members

Regardless of whether you sit on the board of very large companies, for SMEs, in startups or scaleups, in NGOs or associations, the topics at The Community’s conferences will typically be so broad that it is relevant to you regardless of background. Our starting point is thus not defined by company size, industry, or form of ownership, but has its point of view among experienced board members and highly current agendas.

Strategic partners

Together with our strategic partners, which currently consists of Deloitte, Gorrissen Federspiel, RiskPoint, Admincontrol, Mannov, Ermitage Partners and Case Rose | InterSearch, we plan dates and the most current themes with a rolling 12–15-month horizon.

Over the years, our members have, among other things, heard speeches from the board chairmen of BlackRock, Unilever, Carlsberg, Bonnier, Nokia, Nordea, Equinor, Vestas, Rolls-Royce, Arla Foods, Danske Bank, Danfoss, Astra Zeneca, ATP, Novo Nordisk, Ferd, EQT, Coloplast, Henkel, Altor , ISS, Genmab, Axcel, Schneider, Sydbank, Tryg, Aker, DSB, Grundfos, FLS, TDC, SAS, Neste, FSN Capital, Telenor, GN, Maersk Drilling, Ratos and others.

The themes have ranged at least as far; from international corporate governance trends and remuneration conditions, over digitalization, sustainability, and geopolitics, to board evaluations, generational changes, investor relations and M&A – as well as much, much more.

MEMBERHSIP – BOARD NETWORK

Board Network is Denmark’s strongest and most influential board network.

Thus, The Board Network is a unique network which, in addition to focusing on best practice in board work, also gives members access to inspiration from a large number of both Denmark’s and the world’s most experienced and leading/revolutionary board chairmen, professors and advisors within corporate governance. The emphasis at the members’ meetings is primarily on value proposition through the forward-looking strategic and management task, and to a lesser extent on the backward-looking control task of the board’s work.

To ensure the best possible interaction and sparring between the members, Board Network, as the country’s most exclusive board network, is reserved for members with relevant experience in relation to board work. Admission to the network takes place via invitation or application for admission. All applications for membership are assessed individually. We are continuously accepting new members within all three of our membership categories.
